What’s Included?
Boarding 7x nights (Saturday-Saturday)
You will be staying in a simple but beautiful communal accommodation. You will have your own separate bedroom and bathroom then the kitchen/living space is for everyone and where we’ll host all of our meals. There is a vegetable and herb garden right outside your door which you are welcome to pick from and you might even be greeted in the morning by the neighbour’s cows and an orange sunrise!
Airport pick-up and drop-off
All airport transfers are included! Most commercial flights in and out of the island are on Saturdays so we’ve picked these days for your arrival and departure to make things easier.
Training
You will have your training sessions Sunday-Friday 9:30-12:00. These will be a mixture of Handbalance, Gymnastic Strength, Flexibility and partner bodywork. The skills we’ll be focusing on:
Handbalance - Straight, Shapes, Head-in and Press to HS
Gymnastic Strength - Chin-ups and progressions, Handstand Push-ups, Muscle-ups + Rolls on the Rings, Front Lever, L-Sit
Flexibility - Pike, Pancake, Middle Splits, Front Splits, Bridge
Partner Bodywork - Various massage techniques to support the week’s training

Meals
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided so please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. All your meals will be created from scratch with local organic produce from the Azores. Including seasonal fruit and veg, eggs + cheese, beef and pork plus some amazing local fish caught by yours truly! The kitchen also has a great wood oven so be prepared for the best slow-cooked stews you’ve ever had.
Day Trips
Excursions are included on 4 separate days. They will be weather dependant but the types of trips we have done in the past are:
Visiting the town Praia da Vitoria and hiking up to the viewpoint for some great pictures
Going for a traditional lunch and chilling at the beach
Exploring the old town of the main city Angra
Going for a dip in the harbour and snorkeling the shipwreck
Watching some of the annual bull fighting festival! (no bulls are harmed)
Boat Trip around the island and snorkelling. For the last 2 years we’ve swam with dolphins so we might get lucky again!
Then the most famous destination on the island, Algar do Carvao. The amazing volcano in the middle of the island that you can actually walk down into and discover the lake at the very bottom.

You'll have to arrange your own flights to Terceira island, but we will pick you up from the airport and take you to your room when you arrive!

It's recommended to have at least 6-12 months of experience in physical training. If you have any concerns feel free to organise a call and we can discuss!
